Default PAINTING GT WING LIKE MACH 1

Ok so I have been thinking I have a black 2002 mustang gt and I think I want to paint the wing to look like a mach 1. as well as the insert at the bottom of the rear bumper. But I can't seem to find any good pictures or write ups on it has any one done this? what kinda paint should I use matte or flat? and pics would be nice if you can find any.
thanks

Wow I've been searching for this same thing. I've been looking for a Mach1 wing but couldn't find any decent ones to buy, so I just bought a spare gt wing and gonna have it painted to match. I have been looking for the last day or two for the actually color of the Mach1 wing, but haven't found it yet. I dont know if it's satin or flat.

i tried it in my garage with flat black and it just didnt turn out right i guess my paintwork just isnt up to par it looked good before it dried. then i started lookin' at the car without the wing on it and decided insted of getting it painted and put back on to just go spoilerless. If you are real good awith the paint then i say go for it flat black.

meh...i just dunno how it would look with the wing only.

i havent seen just a flat black spoiler on a black stang, but i have seen a black spoiler on a red stang and the scoop was still red. looked a little ackward, almost wal-martish it just didnt fit with the car by itself.

We'll see how it looks. I'm getting a 95 cobra R hood anyways.
