fuel system set up
i am just trying to see how much things would cost or what i would even need to get for this set up. Ill start by saying i have no idea about fuel systems in general. that being said i want the system to be able to roughly be able to handle 700 at the wheels on pump gas. i understand i might have to boost the octane but i wanna still user pump gas for ease of use. if i am being unrealistic let me know. any help would be awesome.

yeah im open to the idea of doing that i just dont know if someone out there sells a kit of some sort for that kind of thing or if you would have to piece it together yourself

I know Glennsperformance.com sells complete kits for high horsepower mustangs. I do not have any experience with them but I have heard the name around here. Maybe someone else can chime in if they are a good company. Kits look legit though.

This is how I did mine.
04 cobra tank, Fore fuel hat with 2x Walboro gss342 pumps. -8 feed from the hat to the rail, -6 return, and I used the aeromotive compact efi regulator. Don't know if it'll support 700rwhp, but when I asked the tuner what the fpdc was he said he didn't look, two 255lph pumps were plenty for my setup. Even though your car is a returnless setup all of that stuff will work fine on your car and the tuner will most likely be happy you changed it to a return setup.

nice, i was just wondering this too! im gunna sump the GT tank tho.
here's a question tho, did the tuner have to do anything to the pumps to get them to run? isnt the returnless setup voltage regulated to achieve proper pressure? so if u swap from returnless to return how was the wiring setup? did u run seperate relays for each pump to ensure you have at least 1 pump incase a relay blows?

My car was already setup as a return, so I didn't have any fpdm to mess with or anything. At the moment I've just got one fused 10gauge wire in series with the stock pump wiring and relay. Without the added 10gauge wire the stock harness wasn't providing enough juice to both pumps to even make 40psi. I couldn't adjust it with the regulator nomatter what I tried.
