Default Need some help answering sum ?s on my 96 cobra

Ok so i just bought this car for 4500 hundred, we all know these cars aint to drive to church on sunday lol, but heres the deal.. the motor runs good, really good to my knowledge, but wen i go to take off it bogs down like as if im gonna stall it, i had a gt that was a 96 and i rode the clutch the same, are u suppose to give more gas on cobra to engage the clutch. and as i hit about 1500 rpm there is a vibration that feels like its either coming from the tranny or the drive shaft. i can hear the throw out bearing going bad, i mean could this just be my clutch or wat? i just feel like this car should haave waaayy more get up than wat its got, its only got 117xxx on it and it is alll stock... pls help guys... and oh yeah there is a slight ticking noise that starts at like 2000 rpm and stops around 3000 rpm and i think its just a small exaughst leak, its not coming from the motor at least i dont think

Not normal at all. Seeing as it has over 100k miles, a safe bet that couldn't hurt would be a routine tune up. I rarely see a Stang without the factory fuel filter. Seems no one replaces them until they clog up. Also, clean the IAC. My old 01 GT would bog and stutter, and it turned out to be some junk caught up in the IAC.

Honestly i'd just do a tune up consisting of plugs wires, fuel fiter etc etc, if its still bogging go IAC/MAF.

The vibration could also be a miss.....

For what it cost for a IAC I would just replace it, ford claims they aren't cleanable and should be replaced if faulty. I sprayed mine and it cleaned it up for about two weeks and it was back to "da broke". Is the car throwing and CELs? Also with sn95 cobra with mileage like that its a safe bet to say that the IMRC are gummed up and not opening and closting 100% and should be cleaned.
