Default switching back to stock intake, dumb idea?

i've got a bbk cai on my car now, but i want to put the stock one back on for the bone stock look. i've heard the stock one's are not a restriction so would a stock intake with a k&n be almost, if not just as, good as the bbk? also, anyone wanna buy a bbk in great condition? .

you have heard correct... intakes dont do a darn thing for these cars except make under the hood look a little fancier.

i'm not sure what they're worth, maybe 100shipped obo? now looking at the factory pieces that i got with the car it looks like the intake tube between the tb and maf is ripped, so i'll have to find a new one of those now .

I've heard the same with CAI's not doing much for these cars. I have a K&N air filter on there, when i bought the car the filter was pretty dirty so i got the k&n less than a week after owning it.

*barf* why? lol

The stock intake is more then likley better then your BBK anyways because the stock intake is made of plastic that doesnt get near as hot as the metal bbk does.

because once i put the go juice on it and actually beat people, i can tell them the car's bone stock with mufflers, then pop the hood and it will appear to be that way. just to **** people off ofcourse .
