Default what all has to be done for an ecu swap?

My ecu is jacked up and I'm getting a reman today but i want to make sure and not screw anything up. Can I just pull mine out put this one in and then load my tune from the sct tuner? My tuner has pats disabled in the tune so will this work?

Thanks!
