Default New diff or replace the clutch pack

I have a 2003 mustang GT with 80k on it. It makes about 330hp to the wheels and 330 toque.

I am suffering from the dreaded one wheel peel. Or rather my car is. Anyway, I am very strapped for cash. Should I just replace the clutch pack (which is what I want to do since its cheaper) or should I buy a new differential? I only go to the track maybe 2x a summer and other than that my car is a seasonal daily driver. Eventually I plan on installing some kind of power adder. However, I just want to fix this differential problem. Can I have the pros and cons of going either way.

Again, because its cheaper I'd rather just replace the clutch pack, but I fear that this one will go again, or not be suited to the increased power of my car. So I would hate to do this job more than once since I am already broke. So new diff or clutch pack?

Since money is an issue I would just get the stock diff replaced. They are much stronger than people give them credit for and seeing how you don't go to the track often you will be fine.

You can get a new diff for less than $200 which is less than the cost of rebuilding yours with a clutch pack unless you are doing the work yourself.

Where can I get a decent diff for less than 200?

If I was going to replace them I would get a Detroit Truetrac.

I am not doing the work myself. Unless you can convince me that its simpler than installing a CAI, TB, or a catback exhaust. Since that is the only work that I have done.

Any more thoughts on the topic?

Is there another differential that would be better than stock but cheaper as suggested by tbirdscwd?

Replace the clutchpacks man. I did it on mine and with almost 2 years of abuse now its still holding great. The carbon fiber clutch packs are only like 100 bucks.
