Coyote build-up

I have a 98 gt mustang that needs a new motor. I was thinking about putting a Coyote crate motor in it but need to know all of the parts I will need to complete the job. ie. fuel system, computer, engine mounts, exhaust, etc. The engine is deal at $6500.00, but a need the whole shopping list to see if it is worhtwhile. Thanks

ur gonna pay some serious dough for that swap. with the money spent on that you could do a whole termi swap

So the best best is to get a terminator rebuilt or what are you all suggesting

but it would be cooler than a termi swap....

wish I could help in supplying a list of parts needed... but I have not a clue.

they are saying for the time and money it would take to do the sawp you want, it would be cheaper and maybe quicker (due to ability to get parts faster and knowledge on it) to do a termi swap.

if time and money was not an issue...deff go your original route.

to make it an easy swap you will also need this

and I think you have to buy the alternator kit separately also. Basically it adds up fast

not gonna get it done with 6k... My motor plus fluids a tune etc cost around 4-5k total and it was pretty much a direct swap. Your gonna need a fuel system to support it as well. ITs just not gonna happen for 6k sorry... not trying to be a d!ck.

I don't know where you guys are getting that he thinks he can get it done for $6K....he said just the motor was a deal at $6500...and was looking for a parts list to make it happen is all.

possible? yea cost effective? doubt it. BUT i say go for it. it would be cool as hell and would be an awesome swap IMO..be a pioneer brothaa
