I just bought C&L Plenum and 75MM TB. It was fairly easy install and when I floor it and shift it sounds like a blow off valve its pretty neat. I love the sound of turbo cars i only wish mine was... Its a pretty good bolt on mod plus you already have an intake so it you will have a complete intake system... Whatever I love mine

Depends on how fast you mod your car. If its gonna be a full bolt on here in a couple months, then yes buy it. You will need it sooner or later, but gears, headers ect will make you faster.

Yep. Look at the mods you want. Some mods don't need new plenums because they are already built in. ex: top mount superchargers, bullitt intake, P51 intake etc. The throttle body you can alway use though.

If you are determined to make some sort of air induction changes, the best thing to do is all three at the same time....throttle body, plenum, CAI....then you will notice a difference for sure. My car just smoothed out that much more under acceleration, idle, etc. with these changes. Don't know real world HP gains (lots of arguments over that one) but worthwhile. If you plan on adding headers, catback, gears and so on later, you've got a good start for the whole package.

Wow good to know that my car ist the only one that does that, i absolutely love it though. back on the advice of what to buy, go to rpmoutlet.com the 75mm combo is the same price as the 70mm, so you have to ask yourself one question... why not?

Aight thanx for the help .....do you have to do any modifications with the 75mm TB cause i heard that you can lose power sometimes because it is to large so ive heard to go with the 70mm

ABout the same as other mods in terms of value. The best HP yielding TB/Plenum is Accufab for $425 shipped. That will get you 7HP. Not too great. Wish I had $425 to blow and I'd get one anyway cuz they look cool. I believe the argument about 70/75mm has points in both directions. If you think you're engine will never be highly mod'd then you could go with 70mm because it would be likely to keep the intake air velocity up. Truth is, the 75mm might get you like 1 HP. Here are a couple of links that you should consider. Hope this helps you:

That is very good information. I found an accufab 70mm that came off a wrecked saleen for 110shipped off ebay. Then i got my plenum ported and polished for $75 from this guy that builds custom race engines. Im positive it doesnt flow as good as C&L, or Accufab, but it didnt cost $250 either. Just look around, and when it come to that kinda stuff, the big name stuff is better.
