Default Brakes?????

Putting new rotors and pads all the way around on my 2002gt. Just replacing with factory original. I know it's probably like everything else and there is a couple things to know before doing them. Any pionters would be appreciated.

Should be a torx bit (T50 IIRC) for the calipers. Make sure you have a coat hanger to support them to keep from damaging the lines. That it for tips, the rest is easy.

Rear calipers don't compress straight in, you need a pair of needle nose to turn them in.

Use ceramic pads, Pep Boys' Pro-Stop ceramic pads are good and reasonably priced, great stopping power and clean.

The stock GT brakes are marginal and will fade fast if you really need them. Using ceramic pads will buy a lot of sustained stopping power.
