Cluth, Tranny, or somethin else?

k well my car has been doing this for a little while but tonight it was bad. My cars a 04 gt 5spd manual and when i stop and try and put my car in reverse it wont go until i wait and let the rps drop all the way to idol and then still sometimes is kinda of a thud when in engages.

Tonight all it would do was grind when i tried to put it in reverse. I messed around with is for a little and eventually after i let off the clutch then pushed it back down it worked so im not sure what is causeing this but its kinda scaring me?
Also my cluthch feels like its to soft up top and then when you get it about half way down its really hard to push. So idk if its about time for a clutch or what

Pease help, Thanks

It sounds like you have a broken release bearing. Are you having trouble getting it into any other gears? Do you have a stock quadrant or aftermarket?

First step is to adjust you're clutch and see if that alleviates the problem, as stated above are you having trouble with other gearS?

i have stock quadrant and other gears are fine. Where you adjust the cluthch at?

k well all my gears are getting harder to shift into and reverse is a bitch to get into its almost impossible and the only time i get it to go in is when i put it in 4th then reverse. So im guessing its my clutch going?

Is the cable adjusted properly? There should be 1" to 1-1/4" free play in the pedal...

My Clutch got extremely hard to push in within days of replacing my trans and clutch..Turned out to be release bearing was moving on clutch fork.

You still have failed to answer this question, you may be getting you're panties in a wad for nothing with the researching a new clutch.
