yesssssss do you do it digitally or with some kind of capacitor combo? My girlfriend just showed me yesterday how she was doing a "blinking light" with a capacitor and something else
I would love to understand what all is goign on.... I don't get to take network until next semester so I can just do it "digitally" right now... and I think that it is more efficient to do it with the way she was telling me (and doesn't require a processor lol)

The thread that we had for this topic a while back has all that info in it. Someone above me here posted the link I think i saw. Anyways, it takes and IC, several resistors and capacitors, and a board with jumpers. I actually made and LED test rig on my bench so I can test each unit I make to make sure it works. I am trying to sell these...for 50$ each shipped anywhere in US. So if anyone wants a kit, they work for 96-04. PM me.

Yea read through that link that Cliff posted. I started that a while back when I was getting into it but came to realize that with the components needed and the tools I had to make these I knew I would not be happy with the outcome of the parts. My tools were too crappy to make something I would have been proud of. There is plenty of technical info in there that you could use to get an idea what is involved. Devon chimed in that thread as well shoung some good stuff.
Goodluck. I would have gon through with it if I was in school with supplies and dedicated time to it like a school project does for you.

The parts cost enough that at $50 he's making them out of the goodness of his heart--Devon and I spoke about this several times while he was developing the kit...

Cliff hit the nail on the head right there...My time in making them is free basically. I have spent so many hours just trying to order and find parts that it makes it hardly worth it. I am just trying to get my money back on my investment, and help out anyone who wants a kit. For example...I ordered a box of Male terminals that plug into fords tail lamp socket...after asking every supplier known to man...and got jerked around for almost 3 months when the guy told me I would have them in 2-4 weeks. I finally got them 2 weeks ago, and they are not even what i ordered. So now I have to pay literally 10 times the price I paid for these, to order through another supplier for the correct ones, just so I can sell these kits. Without this tab, the rest of the kit is useless. So, really, if you want to help me out and help yourself, buy a kit from me, and just take it apart and see how it works.
