Am i gonna get smoked?

ok heres the deal, one of my pledgebrothers up at school has a 96 cobra bone stock and he says he can beat me.. the thing is it has 109K miles on it so i figure that engine isnt pushing near the hp it used to and im sure his clutch isnt looking to great either. my mods are in the sig. what do yall think?

96 cobra's in mint shape made 245hp to 260hp yours made 235ish so i think with your mods it will be a driver's race...
launch good,and power shift it,and you might beat him by half a car.

In a drag race id say you got a pretty good chance at winning. A lot depends on the running condition of his car and his driving skill. From a roll though hes got a better chance.

High milage does not always mean the car will be slow or not make good power, the clutch may be worn though as you said but unless it is about ready to fail the clutch won't have a huge effect either. I think it will be a drivers race as the others have said.

I beat a stock 95 Cobra and I have about the same mod list as you. It will deff be a drivers race. I have an 02 GT.

i dont think the mileage has anything to do with anything...some cars have over 200000 miles on them and still have as much power as they would with 2000 miles on them, anyways yeah a 96 cobra made like 305 hp (i think) so yeah wit ur mods it looks like itll be a drivers race ...just race em and find out
