having ignition assembley issue

Default having ignition assembley issue

i tore my column down on my 96 gtabout a year ago and i am trying to reassemble it..i got it all done down to the pats system that fits on the lock cylinder,=...i have the piece around the lock cylinder,but i have a wire witha flat bladed piece on it that i cant remember where it goes..i am pretty sure it goes somewhere on the lock cylinder but not sure,anyone have an exploded view of the lock cylinder or any help would be appreciated..i got a picture of it but i can figure out how to post it on here

is it orange plastic with a metal contact point on it? if so it slips onthe the tumbler itself before you insert it back into the column

mine isn't orange..it is a black piece and it has a small flat blade like piece of copper on it...i never pulled the ignition itself so it goes somewhere on the outside...i got a pic i could email you of it.....i cant get the pic to post on here.

there is a groove on the tumbler assembly that will allow that piece to slide on in. I got this from google.

i never pulled my ignition so that isn't the part i am explaining...thatnks for trying though.,,,i got a picture of it,but i cant get it to post on here..

it looks like the key chime trigger. Which is the same thing as what that picture is I posted earlier. However yours is obviously a little different. I checked the Ford site and it doesnt tell me anything specific about assembly.

What about the square hole at about 9-10 o'clock on the ignition?
