Default Vortech V1 Seal replacement

i searched but didnt really find much, or the threads were old as crap and things might have changed. Would me and a friend who is a mechanic be able to do it? also where would we get the seals at? if i could save some $ over sending it to vortech i would if it wasnt too bad of a job.

You didn't search good enough.
Your best option is to ship your Vortech V1 supercharger to Vortech
and have them replace the seals. Also Vortech will inspect your supercharger to see if it
needs to be rebuilt.

This was a while ago but I remember seeing some company/person on ebay selling the proper bearings and seals to rebuild a v1 and v2 head unit comparatively cheap.

thanks, the bearings are fine. i actually just bought it and the guy said it might need seals. if it did need bearings then yes, it would be a vortech right now. i was trying to see if i could just take it apart and put the seals in without needing too much precision although i do have access to micrometers and things like that.
