1998 Mustang - Alarm goes off at random
Looking for some insight on this issue I'm having.
When I get out of my car, I hit the lock button on the door by habit. I don't have a wireless key thingy to lock it/cut the alarm on. I don't even know if the alarm cuts on if you hit the lock on the door once. Anyways, my alarm will just randomly go off at times. Nobody is near my car to trigger it, no loud noises, vibrations, etc... It's only done it (so far) when I'm in civilization (Around lots of other cars). Doesn't do it when I have it out in the country. Maybe other peoples wireless keys are triggering it? The car is 'tuned' by a retarded/glitched DiabloSport Predator tuner that will not unlock itself from my car. (Came with the car, working with DiabloSport to try to fix the issue so I can sell it for an SCT) Is there a way to just disable the alarm? Or any possible solutions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance folks. |
I think we're going to try having p.a.t.s. disabled. I'm not really worried about it anyways, there's enough teenage kids with BMW's to break into rather than my car anyways. =]
