Dallas Mustang Speed cal will fix the speedo error for $99.

Until you do that you can fihure out how much it's off here: http://www.hardcore50.com/members/calculators.htm.
Your speedo is probably reading about 12% high btw.

Get that speedo fixed soon because it throws off the odometer. You are going to be showing higher mileage than what you actually drive.Someone correct me if Im wrong.

Although you may not want it now I'd highly recommend getting one of the tuners. They are about 300-350, and you DO NOT have to run higher octance gas, unless you program an aggressive tune into it (advance timing, lean fuel etc...), it will allow you to do many things, and will open up the door for future mod tunes. The speedcal from what I understand is a bit of a pain to install, while the tuner is dead simple to use.

You are correct. Both the speedometer and odometer while running uncorrected are reading about 14% high.

4.6ford, is your transmission automatic or standard? A SpeedCal will presumably not work for automatics past the '98 models.
