Default Need help with sputtering when spraying nitrous.

Ok heres the run down with my car. 01 cobra fully built forged bottom end with flat top pistons. Long tubes, H pipe, SLP exhaust, 4.10 gears and my wet kit. Ok hooked the kit up last night, everything went smooth. Went to take the car out for a test and when i was at open throttle the nitrous kicked in and my motor started sputtering and boggin out. I played with the kit for about 4 hours last night checking things and retarding the timing by 3 degrees and still it acted the same. So i started leaning the motor out. It got a little bit better but it still sputtered a bit in high rpm range but not near as bad as my first run. What am i possibly up against? spark? timing? to rich still? I know my car runs rich since i have had the longtubes on the car but i dont know how far i can lean the motor out without damaging it. thats i was scared last night when i was leaning it. Whats my next step fellas?

Oh yea and im only runing a 75 shot just to start out with before i really start cranking it up. I just wanted to run a small shot until i made sure everything was hooked up right and the system performs the way its supposed too. I checked the pills and they both match up to what zex installation papers say. So i didnt put the wrong pills in. Need help guys get me back out on the street.

Sounds like spark to me. Did you tighten up the gap on the plugs? Could be blowing out the spark up on top. What is your fuel pressure at WOT on the spray?

sounds like a wet kit? you didnt specify.

does the car drive fine under WOT off the bottle? if so, and its a wet kit, i would assume something is wrong with the nitrous, specifically the fuel being added probably making you rich as hell. are you sure you dont have the pills reversed or something? like the nitrous one in the fuel and fuel in the nitrous?

and +1 what about your plugs? did you get colder plugs and tighten the gap?

Im sorry fellas i left out some information, yea its a wet kit, and im running just basic plugs right now...autolite.....factory plugs i guess I havent even touched them since ive had the kit on the car. So you fellas think i should just throw some colder plugs in there and/or check the gap?

Oh and i checked the pills to make sure i didnt reverse them. Cause i honestly thought i did when it first busted up on my first nitrous run. Im not the smartest man in the world so I am the kinda person to do such a thing.

Yea the car is fine at WOT without the nitrous. Sound like a plug issue? I am still running off of standard plugs.
