Default has this happen with your tuner?

Ok so after reading a million threads on here about advancing my spark with my sct xcal2 i thought i would give it a try. So i first bumped it up to 4 degrees. But when i tryed to start my car it would not start. it would turn just not kick over. so i set it back to 0 degrees and it started right up. So curiously i tryed setting it at 2 degrees, but same result it would not start. Has this happened to any of you? any reasons why this is happening?

Not knowing what tune parameter(s) SCT has chosen to modify it is impossible to know what happened--however obviously something is wrong with the manner in which they are altering the timing, it should have no effect on starting the engine.
