Default rear vibration above 75mph ???

i've been experiencing this all summer and really haven't felt the need to do anything becausee everyhting seemed tight when going under 75.

ok now for the problem. it feels like something is out of balance when i exceed 75 mph. under this speed you would never know anything was wrong. the culprits could be u-joint, but i replaced that 3 yrs ago, driveshaft out of balance, ? what else. its not wheel vibration so i can safely rule that out. Thanks for you help

Check your pinion angle

Leaky seal shouldn't be the source of your problem...unless your rear end has dried out and the gears are messed up then I guess that is a possibility. But by then you would know it. You should check your fluid level btw and top off as needed.

Pinion angle....you would need an angle finder and a way to work under the car with the suspension fully loaded. Do you have upgraded control arms?

If everything is stock, your pinion angle should be fine. How pronounced is this vibration anyway? I mean when I am at 75-80ish mph with my 4.10's, my revs are higher and the interior does seem to have more vibration...

A failing pinion bearing could explain the vibration along with the inconsistent leaking of the pinion seal.

seems like you guys are fixed on the pinion bearing so thats something to check over the winter. i mean its not a violent vibration, it kinda feels like when your wheel bearing is past bad and you go to turn your wheel vibrates. do you know what im saying? sounds like an airplane propeller.

and yes i do have MM lower control arms but it was doing this before i put them in so i doubt they are the cause
