Default Water causing the engine not to start??

So when i went last night and VERY GENTLEY sprayed the engine compartment out, the car would not turn over. After 3 tries, i had to mash the gas pedal to the floor and start the car, which worked.

EVERYTHING IS ATTACHED PROPERLY and when the car finally did turn over, it idled at 2k rpm for about 5 minutes. I then shut it off, waited 3 minutes, and it fired up like normal. Like nothin happened.

Why? Do i have an issue with my plugs somewhere? Is water getting somewhere that i havent noticed?

When i sprayed the engine off, i DID NOT use the high pressure spray gun at its full spray mode. I simply just held the gun and rinsed the dust off without sqeezing the trigger.

I will also be putting up sound clips tonight of the start up issue that i am having just on a normal day, which is really making me think that i have major plugh issues. Thanks for the help!!
