Those are Eibach Sportline springs....they are one of the biggest drop springs with a 2" advertised drop...Mostly for "show" cars. Looks like the previous owner kept the stock rubber iso's though.

By advice is to just buy new springs and fix your tire size issue.

As stated above, those tires are much taller then the stock 245/45-17s--about 1.3" taller.

In addition to the clearance problems they are also the equivalent of having 5% less gear in the rear-end. Is the speedometer off, reading slower than you are actually going?

Yes. Speedometers is off by about 4mph. If anyone is looking these type of springs and want to trade let me know lol. What about just putting stock springs back on it? Any advice on a good spring would be appreciated. I like the lower look but this is a bit extreme for my taste. Its not a show car...its a DD and a year round DD to boot.

I think the steeda springs gives a good drop for the GT's. I think it will be about 1-1.5 inches of drop. For your car Id say steeda or the H&R race springs.

Those tires are much to tall. It would look better with lower profile tires aswell. If you want some stock springs I have some with 10,500 miles on them. Let me know... Just taking up space.

I'm sure someone would be willing to trade you stock springs for the Sportlines if you looked around. (Assuming stock height is what you would be ok with.)

I don't think you need to resort to stock lol

Fix your tire issue and get a set of springs like the pro kit, steeda sports, or FRPP B/C springs. H&R springs especially the race springs are very stiff and are more of a road racing spring. You would need a good set of aftermarket shocks and struts to accomodate them.

I run the FRPP B springs and I love them. They aren't very stiff at all and feel like a "performance" version of the stock springs. They also don't lower your car way too much....They do give you a slight raked look though which I personally like. I'm also into drag racing so the softer front springs work out well for me.

I think you'll be happy with the Steeda Sports though.

^^ I think it's beyond the reach of just polyurethane iso's...especailly since his current ride height is already with stock iso's
