Car Needs clutch, any suggestions?
I'm buying a 2000 GT and the clutch makes a ticking sound when the clutch is out. When he puts the clutch in it goes away. If I buy it I'm just going to replace the whole thing. Is this what I would need? http://www.americanmuscle.com/ram-hd...45-clutch.html
And how much does it cost to have it put in??

if its broke its time to upgrade dont just put a stock back in. Idk about Ram clutches so they may be good but when i replaced mine everyone talked about how good centerforce clutches were. I got the dual friction centerforce clutch and its awesome. Same stock pedal stiffness, plus way better feel when shifting. If you have the area and the time try and tackle the install yourself. Its kinda of a pain but there are plenty of people including me that can give ya some pointers. If not your prob looking at 400 to 600 for install.

Is this what you suggest I get?
And Should I buy the throw out as well? Is that all I need to replace the clutch?

That's an awful lot of clutch for a stock GT...
'Twas me, with the tranny out and since you are paying someone to do it for you, I would replace (or resurface) the flywheel, and replace the pilot bearing and throwout bearing--in addition to the pressure place and disc.
The RAM HDX is all the clutch you need, spend more if you like.
Installation will run $250 to $1000+ depending on where you have it done. $250 to $350 (maybe a bit less) at a typical one-man local shop, $450 to $650 at local multi-man/chain shop, and $900+ at a Ford dealer...
