Default Temp Light on?

Last night I was driving in the rain and my temp light comes on. (radiator with fan on it) So I'm think'n wow, i'm on the highway it's raining and I somehow have no coolant. So i pull over and un screw the radiator cap (just started driving at this point) the water was at the top. The actual temp gauge said it was fine too. So could that just be a sensor or what? It seems to be running fine. Any ideas? Maybe the temp sensor on the manifold?

Default RE: Temp Light on?

My buddy's '99 Cobra did the same thing. He sold it before it was fixed, but I suspect a bad sensor. Shoud be fairly easy to replace.
