Default Header to exhaust configuration

If I have SLP Loudmouth catback and CAI, I feel the next step is to finish the exhaust and then go TB.

-What is the difference between shorties and long tubes? I feel obligated to get SLP but the price tag has me looking at FRPP shorties.
-What does and X pipe/H pipe do?
-If I put on headers (long or short) and an x/h pipe, would mid tubes be neccessary?

Thanks all...

you will get more power out of long tubes and if you ever get s/c your stang is really gonna breath good. a aftermarket h and x pipe will just allow the exhaust to flow better then the stock one given you some more ponies. if you do a search you can find out which you perfer for you stang h or x.

If you buy long tube headers you need to buy a shorter x or h pipe. If you get shorties I am pretty sure you can use the regular size X or H pipe you would sue with stock manifolds.
