I've seen them listed for 1996-2004 all the time, so I don't think it should matter.
Just make sure whatever gasket you buy is designed for '96-04. It's pretty much the same motor, that's why the heads fit on the block with zero modification.

Is the heads and intake ALL you got for your car? You're going to need more miscellaneous parts than just those to make the swap work I beleive.

i did a a full p.i. motor swap on my 96 gt over the summer and that was a lot of work and ran into misc problems but just doing heads and intake you shouldnt have to do to much just have to keep your throttle body and swap over fuel rails since ones returnless...injectors are the same and such
