Default 1998 Mustang GT cooling fan issue

On my mustang I noticed my temp was HOT, so I shut her down and tried to troubleshoot the problem. Well it is my fan it won't kick on, and I tested it to make sure it wasn't burnt and ran a hot wire to it and it turned on, but won't turn on by itself. Is there a relay or something else to tell the fan to turn on?

Could be an issue with the CCRM (constant control relay module)

replace your thermostat and there is a temp sensor that plugs into the top of the intake manifold near the thermostat housing...but change your thermo first
