Problem after spark plug change

After i got my plugs in and checked and re checked conections and tightness of bolts there seems to be a problem... Holding RPM's at any range for ex. 2200, 4100, 1400, instead of begin smooth it misses/ sputters/ skips/ like instead of sounding like buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu it sounds like buuuuuuuuuu da da buuuuuuuuuu da da da buuuuuuuuu da... when im driving its FINE and idles FINE too? is it some sort of sensor or bad coil pack? it was running fine before. and the plugs are the BOSCH 4 way ones that dont require gap

Are you referring to the platinum boch 4 prong plugs? I've heard alot of people say not to use a platinum plug but I really dont have any expereince with them. How does a plug not require a gap? Do you mean there pre-gapped to factory specs?

After triple checking all electrical connections disturbed during the plug installation (probably just the MAF) and hoses, the next thing I'd do would be to get rid of the "magic" spark plugs and get a set of Motorcraft (AWSF-32P) of Champion (stk #: 3401). These are both single platinum plugs, OEM and OEM equivalent, and all that are needed for maximum performance in any n/a 4.6 2V.

I run the Champions and they got me to 262/305 rwHP/tq with no problems at all. The silly 4-side electrode Bosch plugs horribly shroud the spark and are mostly a marketing gimmick--I mean heck, four electrodes has got to be better than one, right?.

Those Bosch plugs are only half way decent in engines that are burning oil cause it takes longer to foul the plug.

get rid of the bosch ones and get oem(motorcraft) by the way champions should only be used in lawmowers, weed trimmers and dirt bikes...etc. there is no manufature I have seen or worked on that uses champions NGk are also good but the Bosch platnum 4 are worthless.
my 2 cents.
