Glad I live in South Carolina. We have NO emissions or safety inspections on our vehicles. You pay your taxes on it, then you can drive it!

The first answer was the right one as to the question of "where to buy" www.americanmuscle.com. I looked all over for my flowmaster 40's and an off-road x pipe. They have the best prices and free shipping.

Borla is a straight through muffler..it is actually quite loud even with the stock mid-pipe. I have been running the Stingers now for almost a year with stock mid-pipe and get nothing but compliments on the sound and how loud it is. Not very loud on the inside but pretty dang loud on the outside.

Well from what I've looked at, the Stingers are what I want for sure. I'm just can't debate between a catted system with the stock H or go o/r with an X. I've seen videos of o/r X pipes that sound really good, but then I see others that just sound terrible and make me want to stick with catted.

If I could have some insights on what you think, it'd be great. Here are to two videos making me think of which one to go with.

im also from missouri and ran a catless midpipe for years on my 94. the swap back to the stocker is easier than you might think.

i would go with a 2.5" diameter.

The swap back is pretty simple, although those passenger side header bolts are a b***h to get at.

If your car is a 5 speed then the best combo for the Borla IMO is the Bassani o/r x pipe. If it is an automatic like mine the Bassani won't fit, so your best bet would be Magnaflow Tru-X or BBK. The Magnaflow sounds more like the Bassani and the BBK is more of a deeper sound than a "racecar sound". I will be going with the Magnaflow.

Also, you can keep your stock midpipe, and swap back to your stock catted midpipe once emissions testing time comes.
