4.6 v8 or 5.0 v8?

4.6 v8 or 5.0 v8?
which v8 would get the advantage of hp through all this modding the besT? the 4.6 or the 5.0....im thinking of overhauling my 3.8 and going through all the changes to drop in a v8, but i was just wondering which size would respond better to the mods....
