Default Bra for the Mustang

Anyone have a bra for their Stang? (If you do, post pics, especially True Blue) Long story short, the girl that had my car before me drove 80 miles a day on the interstate. That being said, it had a lot, i mean a lot of paint chips. I have filled them a few times, but it just peels off. I don't feel like getting a new hood or painting mine, so my next step is to look into a bra. So that being said, post pics if you have one. Thanks.

If you put a bra on your car it will rub away at your paint like sandpaper. You'll end up needing to paint the bumper/hood anyway if that happens.

A bra looked cool on my first car, but it destroyed the paint regardless of how careful I was...

Don't want to be a downer, but I would just get a new bumper painted.

I ran bras on cars for years without scratching for fogging the paint. Here are some rules:

1) Never put a bra on a dirty car

2) Never put a dirty bra on a car

3) If it gets wet, removed and let dry

4) Buy quality and don't buy a one-piece (if they even make them).

5) In winter, don't let it freeze to the car. (However, they do hold the front end together if you have an accident involving black ice and a frozen snow bank. But that's another story.)

6) You will still get chips above the 'bra' line of the hood. There is now way to avoid it.

7) I knew a guy with a BMW M3 who used the 3M clear film to cover parts of the front, including the headlight lenses, and behind the wheels on the lower fender areas. When he went to sell it, the damn thing was pristine. Something to consider.
