i need a motor for my mustang i found a run 2000 4.6l out of a crownvic for 350 im told it i can start it before pulling it and i can also fo a comp test is this a good deal for a upgrade for my 1996 mustang being that i want to turbo it and make alittle bit of power
should be a decent factory engine, but why not go forged? just throwing it out there, but the vics run a little less compression than the gt's did, better for boost
Would still be good, just beat on. I see 4.6 cv with 300k still running. I personally wouldn't throw boost on a motor that's already been beat on without forging the bottom end. That's just me though rather be safe than sorry.
