Default qtn for kenne bell owners

Finally got my priorities straight and put a 2.1 on a 0% cc. I went with the 9lb ic kit and am having it installed now. Aside from hiding the purchase from my wife, any tips or advice from experienced kb users?

Man i'm jealous lol! The 2.1 intercooled kit is the exact one i want. Hopefully things will work out to where i can get one really soon.

I hear the instruction manual is very detailed, so the install should be pretty straightforward.

Don't be jealous, just get your priorities screwed up like mine. Did require some grinding on the 03 cobra block for the intake to fit. Also haven't got the circ. pump mounted yet. instructions show it fitting near the smaller kb tube. Stock filter housing is alot bigger.

first and second are gone? LOL! It will be a while before I can afford any meat in the back I guess DR's are the way to go.

Thats with the DRs. With street tires, it spins like crazy and you'll get tire squeal in 3rd and 4th.

Install is pretty straight foreward... just make sure you keep the boost to a reasonable level and a good tune so you dont end up like my buddy:

with that being said, you will LOVE the performance this kit will give you.

southfilly - so what else can u do for traction?

JT that made me want to puke. Im using the kb chip (supposed to be conservative) with a fresh mmr 600 so i hope i can give her everything aside from banging it off the rev limiter.

Coincidence i was in philly airport this morning when i saw southphillys post and i'm in rochester now JT. Damn its cold!
