Mac off road H pipe and flowmaster super 44s?
Hello I am new to this forum and I wanted to post this thread about putting a mac off road h pipe on my 2003 4.6L.. I am wanting to buy an h pipe because it will sound awesome with the 44s and increase power output but the only thing Im worried about it when I bring it in to service and the car has no cats will they say anything about it. I do live in a city with no emissions laws. Thanks for your responses!!!

if you have NO emissions laws, there should be NO problem. you can check around at a few places that do inspections to be sure though...cuz i dont know your states laws. that would be the only way to get a sure fire answer.
reguardless of what they say, KEEP YOUR STOCK PIPE IN THE GARAGE. its very easy to swap out for emissions purposes if you need to. its not worth selling it for 50 bucks on craigslist just to find out you need it later down the road. at the very least, a dealership may try to lowball you on on your car as a trade in for having to install factory exhaust back on it.
i havent had my stock exhaust on the car since the beginning of 07 when i bought it and i still have my stock pipe "just in case".

awesome that sounds good. i had an 03 coupe before this convertible with a pypes off road x pipe and flowmaster original 40s but unfortunatley it was in an accident (not my fault someone ran a red light and totalled it...) before I was able to bring it in for its 90k mile service. I did not keep the stock pipe after the x pipe was installed but this time I will just in case. Thanks!
