Default New guy with a question!

My father in law recently gave me a 3.8l 99 mustang. It was my sister in laws car, the body is in really good shape but the car has over 200k on it. The motor doesnt run very well at all and the tranny is slipping. However, I have a 410w that was once in my mud racing truck that has just been completely freshened up, and a built c6. How much trouble am I looking at swapping the 410w in. I know that I need a k member, I will go tubular when I buy that. I am going to make the car a mostly strip car but I will drive it on the street also. There are no emisson laws here in Ms. The car will be carbed. What K member would you recomend going with, and will I have trouble getting the c6 in. If so i have a c4 also i just have to have it built. Has anyone done this. Will I have alot of money in the car doing this?

If you have the motor and trans, the only real expense you are going to have is the k member setup, exhaust, and driveshaft, and you will probably want to ditch the 7.5 rear for an 8.8 other than that its all fabrication.
