Default Snow Tire Question/2000 GT

Hi, I have a 2000 GT and my stock tires (tires i have on the car now) are pretty bald.......Getting around in the snow is a trick. I've gotten stuck multiple times already this year and we still got three months of snow to go! My question is, what is the best snow tire to put on the Stang? Is it gonna help? I've almost considered buying a little truck for the winter, but I'd rather drive my Mustang year round. Any comments will help......thanks

I highly advise getting a set of V6 16" wheels and put snow tires on all four corners. A set of Blizzak's will do very well for you. If it's STILL bad, throw two 60lb sand bags in the trunk (can get them from home depot).

"A little truck" will still suck in the snow. Snow tires with a lot of life left will help out a lot. Search on craigslist. I found a used set of 16" V6 wheels that had no tires on them that looked brand new for $200 and a set of blizzak tires (used but 90% life left) for $150.
