YA I got mine in yesterday but am a little confused about it.Do I bring my car to ford before oct 7 to confirm that it was replaced(I did it myself)???Or do i just lay back and wait till after oct 7 before I do anything???

Yes, you have to wait until after the settlement date. Since you did it yourself, I'm not sure. If you had a shop do it and you do not have a receipt, you have to sign the declaration on the back, and take it to the dealer. I would sign it and take it to them anyway. Show them that you replaced it.

If you did it yourself, Get a reciept book from walmart, fill out a reciept with X amount of dollars, labor required, and part cost.

Dont let ford take advantage of your knowledge by fixing their problem!!
