Default Sell or Fix?

Hey guys. 5 speed 2000 mustang GT with 132,800 miles on it. I can't feel the clutch slipping yet but it is engaging pretty late now. I'm wondering if I should sell the car now for about $6000-$7000 or just keep it for a while and replace the clutch when it goes. I could probably replace it with some of my buddies and I've got a lift to use for the job, but is it worth it? I do have an aftermarket clutch cable so it could be the nuts coming loose down at the fork. I'll check that. The engine runs great and I've owned the car and changed the oil for every 3,000 miles since 108,000. Thanks in advance for the replies.

Well. I've got a 1965 mustang with a 6 banger 3spd that my dad and I bult that I could drive. But it's not very practical for every day use. Maybe a 4x4 Ranger with a 5 speed.

Yeah the 2000 is my daily and I do love the car. It just seems like a large job (nothing I cant to but don't really want to). I guess I'm being kinda lazy, haha. I've already had "The One Big Fix" that put me back about a grand for a computer. The stealership got me on that one. But since then the car is running good and I know whats been done to it, I might as well just fix it as I go. Also it already has a bit of miles so I might not get the price I want if I do sell it.

Buy a clutch and keep it...I did the job on jack stands in a cold azz garage 2weeks after I bought mine. Get a King Cobra kit, and you're set.

A clutch isnt that big of a deal. Fix it and move on.
