Hey everyone i was in a little accident and drove home 20-30 miles not realizing my passenger side exhaust was crushed !

I had to cut the damn thing off the next day but im wondering if i could have done some damage to my motor due to exhaust gas restrictions.
It sounds a lot more metalic above 2-2.5k rpms under acceleration like a clacky sound. ::shrugs::. Also i went 100 and let off to decelerate and heard backfire! I have never heard backfire from my car before... i hope i didnt do anything.
Any advice? maybe it is just an exhaust leak?

get the new exhaust o the car and see if it continues to act funny

It was just the exhaust tip I cut it off and am running it dumped after the muffler I have a v6 bumper
