yea, im trying to make it to bradenton. last year i had a first round elimination from reggie burnette jr.


talked to dynamic transmissions to get a move on things and get a trans in my car.

totally had same problem with space with the trans bolts, i could get a socket on there, but the handle was at such an extreme angle that the torque was just stripping the head off. i tried takin mounts off and lowering motor, no help, too close to firewall. i even had to drop the freakin k-member, still couldnt get enough room. so i said screw it! pull both eng and trans together and out they came! but what im guessing the main problem was that i had my trans rebuilt by aamco, and they probably torqued those bolts down to like 650 ft-lb.

what you doin for a trans if ya dont mind me askin?

im going with a dynamic "Mighty mite" c4 with pro transbrake and reverse manual valvebody. their sfi bellhousing and flexplate. then im getting a 4500 stall converter but i forgot to ask them which company they recommend with there trans.

Yeah EGR delete wont effect much it might throw a check engine light but drive it down and get it figured out.
