Default BBK 78mm install issues

Ok. I just installed this piece myself the other day which is a big accomplishment for me as I'm trying to do my own work, or at least the simple stuff so I can learn how to become better on working on cars. (YAY ME!) Anyways, the installation took 4 hours instead of 30mins but me being a scrub definitely attributed to that. The point is that since I have a procharger kit on my stang my question is did anyone find putting the intake tube that feeds the throttle body nothing short of IMPOSSIBLE to put on!? My friend and I had to push and pull in 2 different directions to get that damn piece on and it barely fit and even then not perfectly on there. I mean it's on there but not 100% properly. Has anyone else had this issue and somehow resolved it? This was the single most difficult part of this install.

Lastly, what changes did anyone notice who has this piece? I didn't feel anything but then again I've only had it for a day and all I hear is a chirp from the throttle when I hit the gas.

Honestly a throttle body isn't going to net you alot of horsepower only a couple, as far as the install 4 hours is extremly on the hefty side for a throttle body but I'm assuming most of that time was fighting with the discharge tube, pretty much just got to play with it till you get it on there they could be a PITA.

its pretty difficult, since hte rubber coupler was designed for the stock diameter TB and an obviously LARGER one would have required a larger coupler to easily fit. TB like said is only good for a few horsepower, welcome to the world of 2v's. especially since your supercharged putting what...350+ whp to the ground...are you really going to notice 5 more whp?
