i got my car a few months back and im not sure if the engine is from factory the car is a 2000 gt and i think the engine is out of an 02 gt is their anyway i can find out for sure what year it is so i can start ordering parts and know they fit

most parts will fit both an 00 and an 02. unless your buying pulleys or something along that line. take a pic of the water pump and post it. that will be one way to tell.

Yes you can tell by looking at the INTAKE MANIFOLDS.

99-01 (Early 01) had a plastic coolant crossover for the intake manifold. Later (01-04) had Aluminum crossover pictured below. Thats one way to tell. Also 03-04s came with pinktop injectors . 99-01(Most models) came with orange injectors.
