Just wondering, if it turns out to be the CCRM, what would stop me from relocating it to the engine compartment in the area of the blue square provided in the picture below? Why did Ford install it under the fender well in the 1st place? Is it because of the engine heat, or just so they could charge you more to have it replaced? I would like your input on this! Thank you, Tommy.
