So I pulled that coil out for cyl 8 and it's covered in oil. There's a little pool of oil sitting around the plug......

Decided to pull the plug out. It was covered in oil and sludgy stuff. I went out and got a cheap plug to test and see if the problem was the coil or plug. Put new plug in and switched cyl 8 coil with cyl 5. Runnin fine now, I'm gonna wait to see what happens.

Anyone got any ideas how oil woulda got in there?

I had a dab of oil in 2 or 3, I was told to change the plug boots... Btw, I bought a SCT X3/SF3 tuner for my car. I had thought that it wasnt running right because of the stock computer settings. I turned off the o2's, Bumped up timing in thw 2000-4000 and 4000-8000 range, also bumped up WOT air to fuel to 4. This fixed about 90% of my problems, but I now know its a coil somewhere and I need to replace it. I'm glad you figured yours out.

Yeah I'm thinking it's probably a gasket. She's been running fine all week but I'm gonna pull the coil out again tomorrow and see how much oil is in there if any at all.
