What brand Fuel pump to go with??
Hello I have a 2000 supercharged GT.. just recently it started acting up and cutting back at 4,000 RPMS and up... Trouble shooting in my owners manual suggested either Plugs were being blown out, or fuel pump was going bad.. I took it, got the fuel pressure tested.. The book for my Paxton supercharger says at high acceleration my pressure should be at a constitant 65 lbs. When I tested mine.. it was at 30lbs. idle.. and 20 lbs. at high acceleration. Im lookin to buy a 255 LPH fuel pump.. which brands should i look into? I found some on ebay that are 255 LPH for a mustang that are only 50 dollars and one is 70 dollars.. The Walbro is like 120 dollars.. What route should I take? And also is it any chance that it isn't my fuel pump that it's jsut my fuel filter is clogged up? and all I really need is a filter? On another note.. the guy who tested my fuel pressure said since I been driving it lean like that for a lil while I may wanna replace my plugs along with the the new pump.. Does this sound reasonable? Thanks for any advice.

It's a gerotor style pump which is for return style setups (97 and back). UPR is full of crap saying it's for a 99-04 (returnless style) setup. Best bet would be an SVT pump and a Boost-a-Pump (http://www.kennebell.net/accessories...boostapump.htm) for added measure
