Those are there to prevent wheel hop. But if you have aftermarket control arms, then get rid of them. If you've ever taken your rear tires off then you have seen them. Here is a pic of one...

I'll just get some control arms then, instead of those.
Gosh it's hard to decide between shocks/struts...bilstein, koni, tokico? whats the best for road race applications, especially through the turns, but it has to be a decent ride too.

To tell you the gods honest truth, I would invest in a Saleen suspension if you really wanted to get into road racing. I drove my buddys Saleen on and off while he was gone for the month of July and that is by far the best handeling car I have driven in my entire life. Ive driven a lot of different cars and this one beats all the others by far, and he hasnt even done subframes yet.

i had looked into the saleen kit...i will probably go with it.
I just need to find out which kit I need...because theres a few different saleen ones at speedworx.com

His Saleen is a 2002 SC281. He has done upper and lower control arms and CC plates. But thats all.

my saleen's suspension got stripped out by the last owner [:@]
he put a bullit suspensnion kit in it and dropped it 2 inches...IDIOT
thats prolly why i got it so cheap though too lol
