Sarting Rebuilt Engine and Break-in in 20-40* weather???
So I got my motor and everything back in the car and I am just waiting to start it up and get to breaking it in before the Drag season starts in a few weeks. And I still need to get the tune re-checked to make sure its all good. So here in Oregon it is in the 20-40*'s right now and will be for the next couple weeks. Can I start the car up and break it in with it being this cold? I know normally you can drive a car in this kind of weather but I want to make sure the pistons will seal good and everything will go smoothly. Any imput from those who have actually broke-in engine?
Also, I'm asuming I can break my engine in with my supercharger on just as long as I keep it out of boost, right? When breaking it in I've read and heard you can get in higher rpms, just not getting on it hard? Any info on this as well???
Thanks guys
