I had mine fixed at the dealer. It was about $2200. I had just bought it used so it was under warranty. Sounds like you are best off buying another trans.

lucky u, the previous owner must have bought an extended warranty, i just bought mine 2 months ago, sucks!

Get a new one. I paid 500 for 3rd/4th gear to get fixed. Dropped tranny myself. The shop was good friends with my gf's dad who owns a shop. I should've bought a tko
