Default Suspension gurus prefered but all are welcome

I'm pretty much done installing my UPR chrome-molly k-member and coil over kit but I've hit a couple of snags.

1. The engine mount guides don't line up with the plates on the k member but the actual mount bolts go in fine I was wondering if it was a big problem and possible fixes

2. When I went to put in the coil overs, and put the top of the strut through the caster camber plates it didn't seem as if the threading went through far enough and was wonderinf if it was just that I needed to tighten it more because it hasn't hit the top of the lock-nut.

Thanks,
Endrance

P.S. If you read this when it was extremely short its cause I'm on a phone posting from work and accidentaly hit post

kinda need pictures or a better explanation. what do you mean guides? are you talking about the nipple thing on the motor mounts? you can grind that off. shouldnt cause any problems alternatively you could drill a hole for it. or buy solid motor mounts that dont even have it.

about the struts - do you mean that you dont have enough threading? with some aftermarket plates and strut combo's there is very little threading. it should be torqued to spec. not sure if you are also running UPR CC plates but follow their directions on use of metal bushings. i run Maximum motorsport plates, and i did have to deviate from them slightly, as my combo provided 0 threads when using all of the bushings so i had to omit one. you may have to do the same.

If your referring to those thin silver plates that go between the motor mount and the k-memeber you dont even need them. 2. What caster camber plates and struts are you running?

After I put in the 7/8 spacer yea I have about 3/4in-1in sticking out. That a big deal or just tighten that bad boy and move on with my life? I bought the whole kit from upr the k-member, 4 bolt cc plates, and the coil overs.

do you have enough thread to get the nut on? as long as you have enough thread to get the nut through, you'll be fine. i swapped my original factory ford strut top nuts for some lower profile grade 8 hardware. mainly i did it so i could run a smaller bushing on top without having problems.

as long as you can get the threads on and tighten it down to spec, you'll be fine. should be nylock right?

Alright sounds good. Yes it is a nylock so ill just look up the torque spec online for the struts and ill be posting the end results in a seperate thread once I finish the install (with pics)
