Default Can you change the gear ration on an automatic?
So i have a 1996 mustang gt, the car is an automatic(i bought it as a daily driver, id love stick but i found an auto for cheaper), and i was wondering if it was possible to change the stock 2.73 gear ratio on it?..or is it only possible to do it on manuals?

Your 2.73 gears aren't in the transmission. They're in your rear end.

Yup, you have the same differential gear choices as a stick shift car
