Default 2001 Cobra Clutch Noise

I have a cobra that is new to me and right after getting it the clutch started making a noise. It didn't do it when I test drove it but due to work ended up having it driven about 200 miles to me.

Here is a video w/sound:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjfXciDYQA0

It can best be heard from 8 seconds to 10 seconds. It does it more at lower gears and lower RPMs(Under 2000).

Also, at times when it is idling in neutral, there is some noise only when the clutch is not depressed. I have only noticed this one time and pressing the clutch in and out and moving the gearshift around did not make it go away.

Anyone have any advice on what this could be? Could it just be an adjustment needed or is a throwout bearing or something else bad?

Thanks in advance!

first listen to me sounds like a rattle of some sort. I have some kind of chatter noise in my 03/04 cobra clutch at real low rpms (like from 12-1600) but nothing after that range. Prob safe to rule out TOB

What would it signify in your opinion?

Could be a piliot bearing or even the trans itself.

Mine makes noise when idling and my foot off the clutch. if I depress the clutch just a tiny bit it goes away. I think it's just slack in the clutch cable and if everything was tight it would go away.

^ this is definitely a throw out bearing noise that you're decribing.

i have a 2001 and i know that alot of people complained about the tranny noise and they went from a 3650 to a t45 because of the noise in 3rd and 4th geat at RPMs under 2k "sounds like a ball rolling around" or paint can is about the only way i can describe. so if you still have the tremec 3650 that could be the noise you are hearing and that is just hot that trany is. atleast mine and the couple that i know that have them. just som insight

The noise when your foot is off the pedal is the throw out bearing. How many miles are on this car?

Ok, good information. My 02 GT with 71k miles is doing that and I was wondering what it could be. Is something like that difficult or expensive to fix, or is it a big deal to not fix right away?
